Both premium and free users have access to the Chart Builder. The two versions have identical user interfaces. The most important difference between the free and premium versions is that the premium version allows users to print charts and interactively alter chart settings.
Charts can be made available to users #
- on data apps
- on front-end pages
- on back-end pages
Chart data #
Data for charts must be supplied via a valid SQL query. It is possible to copy queries from the SQL Query Builder into the Chart SQL Query field. The query is first specified when creating the chart and can be changed in the App Manager.
User interaction #
Users can interactively alter chart settings with the premium version. The user can switch between multiple chart types without the need to reload chart data. Available chart types are defined in the App Builder.

The chart below lets you change the chart settings interactively. Please note that user-modified chart settings are not permanent.
