The connection to our data server may add a delay. The duration of the delay depends on the location of your server. A remote database connection may add an additional delay. You need to decide for yourself if the delay is acceptable.
Copy table to another database #
If the delay is not acceptable, you might consider copying your table to another database. The Data Explorer contains a (new) feature to copy a table from one database to another (read more…). This works for both, remote database connections and remote data files. Please be aware that table copies are not involved in the update interval cycle.
Copying large tables can result in exhausted memory errors. Please change the query buffer size if you run into the error. Read more…
