App Types

There are currently two app types available to choose when creating apps for your database tables, a Data Table app which is read-only, and a Data Administration app, which supports CRUD transactions. More app types will be released in the future.

Data Table #

The Data Table app type is mainly used if you want your table to be read-only. A Data Table will open to a table view when building the app.

Data Administration #

The Data Administration app type supports CRUD transactions. This is the type you need if you want to add, edit, and delete entries to your table. This type still opens to a table view when building the app with additional Row Action buttons.

Data Apps #

The Data App app type is a container that allows users to bundle apps into one single app. The app container automatically gets a menu containing menu items for all apps.
