I use Vietnamese and Chinese characters. I would like to create a lookup table with 2 fields, field 1 is the characters before : and field 2 is everything after the :
I define both fields as varchar type but they don’t show up correctly. Is there a column type to display Vietnamese and Chinese characters?
Here is the sample:
Ác hoá 惡化: Biến thành xấu kém, trở thành xấu.
Thanks,
Hien Doan
Does anyone know this? I have absolutely no idea! Sorry Hien…
Thanks,
Peter
I am struggling with the CREATE table command. It keeps telling me that I have improper SQL syntax. I admit to being very new, but from what I can tell I have good code (plus, I used the advanced designer to make it). So is my database wrong somehow? I put a query in at the support tab but hadn’t heard back yet and thought I would bug you here.
Thanks
Sorry my late reply Amy,
I answered your email. Just didn’t come to it earlier. Thanks for being so patient and not giving up! 🙂
Best regards,
Peter
It would be appreciated if your videos reflected the new interface layout. Those of us just joining are having to learn two different IDEs – one for work and another for learning [from the old videos]. Do you have plans to update these anytime soon, please? I have great hopes for this software.
Best wishes, Peter

Good point Peter! 🙂
Let me answer your question first:
Yes, I do have plans to update the whole tutorial and demo sections. I absolutely see the need!
There are some new features and changes on my to do list that I want to finish first. Otherwise we’ll have outdated tutorial after the updates again. Time is my constraint!
To anyone reading this:
Please contact me if you have the time, knowledge and skills to create WP Data Access tutorials. I can really use your help! A compensation is possible.
Thank you for contribution Peter,
Peter 😉
